04 / BEFORE YOU PICK UP
Tell CHS your truck, hitch setup and planned load. The vehicle, hitch, coupler and brake controller must suit the loaded trailer. The standard model uses a 2-5/16 inch ball, 7-way connection and electric brakes. CHS confirms compatibility before pickup.
Describe the materials in your request. Yard debris, household cleanouts, landscaping materials and compatible equipment can be reviewed for suitability. Concrete, dirt and roofing loads need a specific weight plan. Hazardous or restricted materials require separate guidance and cannot be assumed accepted.
Volume depends on the actual bed length and side height. For reference, an 83 inch × 14 foot bed with standard 24 inch sides is about 7.2 cubic yards by geometry. That is not a weight allowance; dense material can reach the permitted weight before the bed is full.
Tow-it-yourself pricing is for the trailer. Drop-off and removal quotes separately define delivery, pickup, rental period, loading labor, disposal allowance and any extra charges.
